My College Experiences

My university journey started with excitement and pride after being accepted. Orientation helped me feel connected, and bridge programs prepared me for college challenges like managing time and coursework.

One key experience was a project on bone remodeling in my Anatomy and Physiology class. It taught me to analyze concepts deeply and connect them to real-life situations, like fracture healing. Another was a sociology discussion on poverty in the U.S., which opened my eyes to systemic inequality and its effects on communities.

These experiences helped me develop critical thinking, empathy, and real-world connections to what I learn in class.

Playing sports with new friends I met in college was a great experience that taught me a lot about myself. I learned that one of my strengths is teamwork. I enjoy working with others, motivating them, and finding ways to improve together. For example, during a Football game, I helped the team stay focused when we were behind, and we ended up winning.

On the other hand, I realized a weakness is sometimes doubting my abilities. At first, I hesitated to join because I wasn’t sure I’d fit in, but stepping out of my comfort zone showed me that I belong. This experience taught me to trust myself more and embrace challenges.

One big lesson I’ve learned during my time at university is that education is one of the best achievements. It’s not just about gaining knowledge but also about opening doors to opportunities, developing critical thinking, and building confidence. This mindset will drive me to keep learning, growing, and improving in all areas of my life, even after graduation.

For next semester, my advice to myself is to stay consistent, manage my time better, and take advantage of all available resources to achieve even more success.
